This group is made up of parents of all ages who have various ages of kids. They study the same curriculum as our kids – The Gospel Project – so that they can have a deeper understanding of the Bible story and lesson their kids are learning.

Description: We are a group of people in our 50s and 60s. We meet every Sunday morning and consistently get together for fellowships every few months.  We are active in fellowship and in our study of the Bible.

 

Special Studies Group

Description: We are a free curriculum, discussion-based group established for seminary-level adult Bible study and topical study.  Our members are of all ages and both sexes.  Everyone is free to raise questions of any kind and their opinions are valued and respected.  Come join us!

 

Servants for Christ Group

Description: A more traditional Sunday School type of class, this is a group of about forty people whose ages range from the forties to the eighties.  We share breakfast and refreshments each Sunday morning and have focused discussion during our study of the Bible.

 

Wise Old Men Group

Description: We are a group of single and married senior adult men that meets every Sunday morning to study the Bible. Some members have been with the group for years, while others have joined more recently. We regularly participate in fellowships with our senior adult women class. We have a discussion style for Sunday morning Bible study and welcome any who would like to join.

Internationals’ Group

Description: We are an adult group of Chinese/Asians and spouses who meet every Sunday morning from 8:45am to 10:00am for Bible study, singing, fellowship, discussion and prayer.  Also, we meet monthly and at special times with families and friends of these in our home for a “potluck” meal, games, songs, sharing, teaching, DVDs and prayer.  Further, we minister to needs in the fellowship, informing and encouraging others to join in this.

 

Precept Group

Description: We are a group of people dedicated to studying scripture together utilizing the Inductive Method.  We meet every week to find out what the word of God might be speaking to our lives.

 

 

Home Groups

College Park Group

Thursdays, 7-9pm

Description: We are a mixed group of married couples and singles who have entered that time of life when experiencing loss in its many forms-physical, relational, financial, emotional-becomes a part of our life experience. Currently, we are reading and discussing Randy Alcorn’s book of reflections entitled Fifty Days of Heaven. We begin each gathering with dessert and coffee and conclude with a short but meaningful time of prayer for each other.

 

 

Mercer’s Group

Description: This is a small group primarily made up of younger adults in our church.  We discuss real issues in theology and the Bible and encourage rabbit trails.  Plus, we always have cookies and other sweets!

Description: A small-group type of gathering of men and women in the Conway area.  We are a mixture of people from all across the spectrum of life; singles, married people, older and younger are all represented in our group.  We utilize Lectio Divina in our time together as a way of slowing down and resting in the Lord.  All are welcome!
