Lunch & Learn
Let’s talk about…Planning ahead for some of life’s difficult decisions.
Sunday, April 2
Believing that one of the most caring things we can do for our loved ones is to prepare for our own end of life experience and make our wishes known, the Adult Advisory Council of Church on the Drive is providing an opportunity to begin thinking about those preparations. Led by competent professionals, participants will gather information regarding the choices and decisions that must be considered. A panel discussion followed by opportunities for questions will be provided, along with written educational materials.
Young Adults …
…do you know the wishes/plans of your parents
and older family members?
…do you know where “important papers” are kept?
…do you have a will indicating your wishes?
…do you have finances designated to cover costs?
…if you have young children, have you made legal
provisions for them in the event of your untimely
death? If you don’t, the state will!!
Middle and Older Adults …
…do you have Advanced directives,
an updated will? Pre-paid arrangements?
…have you talked with loved ones about
your desires/plans regarding life support,
funeral plans, burial, cremation?
…does your family know where to find
Includes lunch and materials
